What to Draw Wheel

The hardest part of drawing is often deciding what to draw. Spin the wheel, accept whatever it lands on, and the blank page stops being a choice and becomes a starting point.

Give it a spin — nothing is saved until you copy it.

Make the prompts yours

The stock prompts are a warm-up. Replace them with the things you want to practise — hands, reflections, a character from your comic — or build a themed wheel for a month of daily sketches.

Combine two wheels

Show up to four wheels side by side: one for the subject, one for the style, one for the color. “A lighthouse, in ink, only blue” is a far better prompt than any single list can give you.

Questions about this wheel

Is it good for art classes?

Yes. Project it on the board and spin once for the whole class, or publish it as a link so every student can spin their own prompt. No accounts are needed.

Can I avoid getting the same prompt twice?

Remove the prompt after you draw it and the wheel only offers the ones you have not done yet.
